SGBI OPENS NEW OFFICES ON KING RANCH
Santa Gertrudis Breeders International (SGBI) has moved into a new headquarters building on the historic King Ranch. The first Board of Directors meeting and an Open home celebration was held Saturday, October 31 in the new building just inside the main ranch entrance.

January was fourth wettest since 2000 (The Arab Tribune)
The first month of this year was the fourth wettest January since 2000. Ed Reed at Pine Lake Village measured 7.30 inches in January. That compares to 8.32 inches in 2009, 8.075 in 2006 and 8.70 in 2000.
